Approved Topcoats:
Solvent or Water-Based Urethane and 100 solids Epoxy.
Also approved for wood, concrete and laminate countertops
Surface Prep & Priming:
Grind concrete floors to CSP-3, vacuum dust, wipe with
Denatured alcohol.
Mixing:
Three parts A to 1-part B by volume.
Mixing full kits Add premeasured Part B to Part A Mix for
2 minutes with mechanical mixing. Wearing spike shoes
immediately pour mixed material on the floor and
spread using a flat squeegee or for smaller projects can
be dipped and rolled using 3/8” epoxy roller.
Metallic Applications:
Excellent primer for metallic applications. Premixed
black primer kits available.
Coverage:
1 gallon will cover approximately
Porous Concrete block 200-250 sq.ft./gal.
Receiver coat for vinyl chips 200-250 sq.ft./gal Clear
Finish Coat 250-300 sq.ft./gal.
Best if applied at temperatures between
55-90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Broadcasting Vinyl Chips:
Apply pigmented epoxy basecoat at 200 sq.ft. per gallon
Vinyl flake on 250 sq.ft.
Light 1lb. Heavy 4lbs. Full 25lbs.
After epoxy is spread and back rolled divide chips in
equal portions then throw vinyl chips upwards let them
drop in the wet epoxy. Let cure 24hrs. Then scrape and
vacuum up loose flakes. After scraping and vacuuming
several times. Apply coat of Polyaspartic Clear
or using a magic trowel pull seal coat across the flake at
180 sq. ft per gallon. A Water-Based Two Component Urethane is
also an excellent choice for low odor applications.
Dry-time & Recoat:
Tack free/foot traffic: 12 hrs. Recoat 24 hrs.
Heavy foot traffic 48 hrs. Vehicular Traffic 3 days.
Lightly sand the surface and wipe down with denatured
alcohol or acetone before applying additional coats or
finish coats.
Exterior Applications:
Unless installed as a primer with pigmented Urethane
Topcoats. Not recommended as clear epoxy will amber.
Handling, Storage, Disposal & Clean-up:
- May irritate eyes wear gloves
- Store in clean dry area do not freeze
- Dispose in accordance with all state local and federal
laws - Clean-up tools and equipment with water
